Preview:

Another fixture which might at the outset look like a game with less at stake but as Bangalore captain Virat Kohli has himself admitted, they would look to pounce on the opportunity of finishing inside the top two by winning both their remaining matches. For Hyderabad too, pride is at stake and which perhaps is the biggest reason to put up a fight after a season that has brought them nothing but disappointment.

While Bangalore are high on confidence with a win over Punjab, Hyderabad haven't been consistent at all and would look to address that issue in this fixture against Bangalore. The two captains who were on the opposing ends at the World Test Championship final earlier this year will yet again meet at the toss at Abu Dhabi and while Williamson would hope that result is the same as their earlier meet at Southampton in whites, Kohli loves to give it back, doesn't he?

All that drama and much more coming your way this Wednesday in the Indian T20 League.

Analysis:

Most Bangalore batsmen have had a great outing or two and should be feeling confident about themselves heading into this fixture. While Devdutt Padikkal and Virat Kohli have helped their team off to great starts more often than not, Glenn Maxwell is having a season to remember this year. Other than that there is KS Bharat who has also made vital contributions while AB de Villiers has shown glimpses of his prime form too. Even Harshal Patel and Yuzevndra Chahal have more or less covered for their bases in their bowling department which makes Bangalore a tough team to beat in this fixture.

In sharp contrast, nothing seems to be going the way of Hyderabad. After a good inning on Hyderabad's debut, Jason Roy hasn't fired while Kane Williamson hasn't been as consistent either. Other than that, no batter has looked like he belongs at this stage. By the time Jason Holder and Rashid Khan come in to bat, the damage is already done and while they have been able to bail out the team on a few occasions, on other times it becomes difficult even for them. Abdul Samad should make his starts count and unless they rectify these areas, there is little chance they would be able to give Bangalore a tough fight.

Dafa Bet Prediction of the Day-

Head to head:

The overall head-to-head record is slightly in favour of Hyderabad with the Orange Army winning 10 of the 18 matches they have played with Bangalore clinching the other 8. However, this Hyderabad unit looks like a pale unit of the team they used to be.

Recent form:

The recent form also suggests that Bangalore should be able to win this game given the form of their and the contrasting lack of it in the opposition.
