Preview:

Match number 15 of the Indian T20 League will witness Bangalore coming against Rajasthan. While the Virat Kohli led side have won all their three matches in the competition so far, Sanju Samson & Co. have won just once and lost the other two matches in the season. It's been the best start to the tournament for Bangalore and they would hope that it leads to their maiden trophy but Rajasthan too has potential and can surprise any opposition on a given day. Lots to look forward to when the teams meet on Thursday.

Team News:

Bangalore:

Bangalore went ahead with just three overseas options in their last game against Kolkata. However, that was at Chennai and they have now arrived at Mumbai where conditions would be different. In that case, it would be interesting to see the kind of combination they go ahead with with all stars ready and available for selection.

Rajasthan:

For Rajasthan, Jos Buttler, Chris Morris, David Miller and Mustafizur Rahman are expected to remain their four overseas players. They do have a good combination and balance but need more application and responsibility from senior players including captain Sanju Samson in the absence of marquee players Ben Stokes and Jofra Archer.

Analysis:

From the wicketkeepers section, it is hard to argue against AB de Villiers and Jos Buttler both of whom are key players for their respective teams. More so for ABD who has been in sensational form in the tournament this year. It is to be noted though that Buttler hasn't been donning the gloves in this edition and one can go ahead with Sanju Samson too, given that he will be be the preferred option behind the stumps and has the potential to score big like he showed in the team's first game.

Among the batters, Virat Kohli opening the batting is an automated selection given that he will have the opportunity to play throughout the innings. Young Devdutt Padikkal hasn't been at his brilliant form but at Wankhede, one could expect a free flowing stroke maker to come good. Meanwhile, David Miller has had a success and a failure and could be an interesting selection in the Fantasy side. But the big question would be that of Manan Vohra who will bat at top but hasn't had a great innings under his belt so far. Does one trust him to come good at Wankhede? Marginal call! Riyan Parag, given that he rolls his arms over, can also be a handy option if one is running low on credits,

Amongst the all-rounders, Chris Morris and Glenn Maxwell must be there in the side. Apart from their utility with the bat and bowl, they are safe fielders too and can fetch points. From the bowlers, what a revelation Harshal Patel has been for their side but this would be a different pitch and he would need to make adjustments to his line and length. Chetan Sakariya has been a great asset for Rajasthan and one can even pick Jaydev Unadkat who has had a great game already. But Yuzvendra Chahal hasn't been quite consistent with this wicket-taking form and could be an interesting bet.
