Preview:

It will be Chennai up against Rajasthan after a T20-action packed Sunday at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai on Monday. It's still early days in the competition but one has witnessed so much already. The drama and excitement of the Indian T20 League will reach a lever higher when these two teams meet for this face off. While Chennai suffered a comprehensive defeat in their first match, they came back stronger to register an even more convincing win in the second match. Meanwhile, Rajasthan would know that they had their moments in both the matches and it could have been so easily two wins out of two heading into this game. However, with the confidence of great, competitive performances in both the matches, they will take on Chennai in this fixture.

Team News:

Chennai:

The big news from the Chennai camp is that Lungi Ngidi has joined the team after completing his mandatory quarantine and is expected to be available for selection for this match. Whether he makes it to the XI or not is a different story since MS Dhoni doesn't make too many changes especially with the winning combinations. But only if he feels that the team combination needs fine tuning would Ngidi walk back into the XI.

Rajasthan:

For Rajasthan, the good news is that David Miller looked in great nick the other day against Delhi and will have a major role to play in the tournament now that Ben Stokes has been ruled out of the competition. Chris Morris fired with the bat for the Men in Pink but they would expect more from him with the ball, not only keeping it tighter but also getting a wicket or two.

Key Players:

Analysis:

Ruturaj Gaikwad and Manan Vohra haven't yet made an impact in the competition and could be a bit of a gamble pick in the fantasy side since they are set to bat top of the order and face the most deliveries, if they get going. However, their anticipated opening partners in Faf du Plessis and Jos Buttler are must in one's fantasy side, given their capability of single-handedly turning the match on its head. Moeen Ali, Suresh Raina and Sanju Samson are other guaranteed picks in the fantasy team as they have at least had a performance or two which suggest their good nick in the competition. In addition, Ali comes in handy with the ball while Samson will be behind the stumps and Raina is a gun of a fielder, they likely to fetch one extra points.

David Miller will be a tricky pick since he bats in the latter half of the innings and may not always get as many balls to make a decisive impact. However, Sam Curran and Ravindra Jadeja can be automated selections at this stage along with Chris Morris all of whom can have the impact both with bat and ball. One can go with all of them or pick one or two depending upon one's balance of the squad in the fantasy team.

Among the bowlers, it will be hard to bet against Deepak Chahar, Jaydev Unadkat and Chetan Sakariya. But will Shardul Thakur finally have a good game or will it be Mustafizur who will have a great outing are questions one needs to answer before finalising on the XI.
