Analysis:

Bangalore has had an up and down season as they were in and out of the top four throughout the tournament. The 2016 finalists have a dominant batting lineup with stars like Faf du Plessis and Dinesh Karthik who have been playing important knocks. Similarly, their best batter Virat Kohli seems to be nearing his top form as he missed out on another big knock in the Eliminator. They also have youngsters like Rajat Patidar who scored 112 not out in 52 balls along with Mahipal Lomror and Shahbaz Ahmed who have put up great performances. Their bowling department has looked dominant with Harshal Patel, Josh Hazlewood and Wanindu Hasaranga who have been putting up impactful performances.

Rajasthan has also been one of the most dominant teams in the tournament so far. Their batting has the orange cap holder Jos Butler with Sanju Samson who have scored crucial runs at an incredible rate. But their weakest link has been their lower batting order as Shimron Hetmyer and Riyan Parag have failed to perform consistently. Whereas Yuzvendra Chahal as the Purple Cap holder leads the Rajasthan bowling with support from Trent Boult and Pradisdh Krishna who have been consistent.
