Virat Kohli-led Bangalore, who missed out to seal a top 2 spot for themselves in the league stages, will be facing Rishabh Pant-led Delhi on Friday at Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai. Given that it will be the last game for both the sides before entering the playoffs, the teams will look to register a win and end the league stage on a good note.

Delhi have an NRR of +0.526 with 20 points that has helped them bag the top spot in the points table. Meanwhile, RCB have 16 points to their credit and a net run rate of -0.159. Though both the teams are equally strong, here is an analysis about which team could dominate the other if we consider the statistics into account.

Head to Head- Both the sides have played 25 games against each other in the Indian T20 League so far and Bangalore have emerged as the winner in 15 of them. In the rest 10, it is Delhi who have won the contest. However, if we consider the past five games between the sides, Delhi have won four of them. It is worth noting that two of those 4 games took place in UAE only.

Performance in the ongoing UAE leg-  Bangalore put an average performance in the second phase of Indian T20 League 2021. They won 3 games while lost as many and this is the reason they failed to finish at the top 2 spot in the points table despite playing well in the first leg of the competition. Meanwhile, Delhi kept their amazing form continue with 4 wins out of 5 games played in the UAE leg.

Recent form- Delhi are coming into the contest with a 3-wicket win over Chennai. Bangalore, on the other, suffered a 4-run loss to Hyderabad- one of the weakest teams this season- in their previous game.

Considering the above factors, Delhi are more likely to win the game against Bangalore.
