Team News

Mumbai:

Nathan Coulter Nile had replaced Ishan Kishan in the previous game and he did not fare badly. With the batting unit clicking for Mumbai, Rohit Sharma might just persist with a stronger bowling department.

Chennai:

Chennai Super Kings should ideally stick with their winning combination. They had got in Lungi Ngidi ahead of Dwayne Bravo in the previous game, and he delivered to his captain’s expectations. He had picked up 2 wickets.

Analysis:

Mumbai are coming on the back off a win against Rajasthan and there were plenty of positives to derive out from that game. Quinton de Kock and Krunal Pandya bounced back to form with scores of 70 and 39 respectively and these are really good signs for the Mumbai team. Their batting woes look to be solved and their bowling has always been their main strength. Rahul Chahar once again was the pick of the bowlers as he picked up 2 wickets.

Chennai have been absolutely indomitable this season. With 5 wins in 6 games, there is absolutely no stopping the Yellow Army. The opening duo of Faf Du Plessis and Ruturaj Gaikwad have been sensational so far in the tournament and have eased up the pressure on the middle order. Ravindra Jadeja’s brilliance with both the bat and the ball has done wonders for CSK. In the previous game, Gaikwad scored 75 runs in just 44 deliveries and he is a must-pick member in your fantasy team.
