As 21 June marks International Yoga Day, individuals around the world celebrate this occasion by performing the ancient exercise method. The day was introduced at the United Nations General Assembly in 2015. Over the last seven years, International Yoga Day has been promoted in close association with India’s sporting culture by some of the country’s top athletes.
Every year, sports personalities use their social media accounts to post their yoga images and videos on June 21. The seventh celebration of the day was no exception as many Indian athletes took to Twitter to celebrate the importance of International Yoga Day.
