On Tuesday, the Indian Premier League Governing Council (GC) and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), in an emergency meeting, collectively decided to postpone IPL 2021 season with immediate effect.

After this announcement, players started to return to their native places. But before departing, some players made sure they exchanged gifts with their mates. One of that very special moment was seen on the Instagram handle of the Rajasthan Royals, where the attacking batsman Jos Buttler gifted an autographed gloves to his young teammate Anuj Rawat.

Here's the post:

Anuj Rawat is a wicket-keeper batsman from Uttarakhand. He played his maiden IPL match on 2nd May against Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi. In the same game, big hitter Jos Buttler showed a fantastic batting display by hitting 124 runs off 64 balls. Early in the season, Jos was batting in the middle order. However, after injury to his England mate Ben Stokes, Jos was asked to open the batting, and he did not disappoint.

After few weeks of spending time with his family, Buttler will join his national team for the Test series against New Zealand starting 2nd June.
