Rajasthan Royals have announced the replacement of their player Liam Livingstone, who has already pulled out of the ongoing edition of IPL due to bubble fatigue. The batsman had left the franchise’s bio-bubble and returned home after spending a lot of time in bio-secure environment over the past year. The Englishman was part of the RR squad and was picked by the franchise in IPL 2021 auction.

RR had stated that they completely understand and respect the decision of Livingstone. They had added that they would continually provide the required support to the 27-year-old in whatever capacity they could. However, they have now named his replacement after 10 days of his departure.

Rajasthan Royals currently occupy the seventh spot in the points table with just 2 wins from the 6 matches played so far. Notably, the side are captained by Sanju Samson in this year's IPL. The Royals face Sunrisers Hyderabad in their next encounter at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi on Sunday.
