Prithvi Shaw has been in fine form recently. After scoring a mountain of runs in the Vijay Hazare Trophy and ending the tournament as the leading run getter, averaging over 165 in 8 innings, Shaw has continued his rich run-scoring form in the Indian Premier League. Opening for the Delhi Capitals against the Kolkata Knight Riders, Shaw scored 82 from just 41 balls to make easy work of their run chase of 155 as DC sealed the match in the 17th over.
Such was Shaw's brilliance that he scored as many as 11 boundaries and 3 sixes in his innings. For his audacious knock, the 21-year-old was adjudged the Player of the Match. Understandably, the Mumbai lad received accolades from all corners for his breathtaking performance coming at a strike of 200. But among many others, one special comment made by the emerging star's rumoured girlfriend Prachi Singh grabbed all the attention.
Post the match, Prachi, who is an actress took to her Instagram to congratulate Prithvi for his splendid display of batting talent. Sharing a picture of Prithvi receiving all the awards for his knock during the post match presentation, she wrote, "I’m so proud of you!"

Following their win over KKR, DC will now be up against Punjab Kings in their next match on Sunday. Punjab will also head into this game on the back of a comprehensive win over Royal Challengers Bangalore.
