Five-time champions Mumbai Indians will take on Royal Challengers Bangalore in the inaugural match of IPL 2021 in a few hours time from now. While several star players are set to feature in this crucial game, former India opener Wasim Jaffer has named one particular player to watch out for who he thinks can make a significant impact in the game. The Punjab Kings batting coach made the call in his signature style and left a puzzle for netizens to solve.

The Rohit Sharma-led side have not won their opening match for as many as eight years now and would be on breaking the unwanted streak. The two-time defending champs have a star-studded batting line up and RCB too boast of some of the biggest batting stars featuring in the T20 tournament. However, Jaffer has seemingly backed a pacer to come good at Chennai.

Check out his clue right here:

Boult had played the Flamingo block in 2015

Notably, Jaffer's hint of a flamingo bird most likely refers to Trent Boult as the New Zealand international had played the Flamingo Block in 2015 in a Test match against Australia. Although some of the passionate fans had already guessed it could be Boult, Jaffer later confirmed it to be the left-arm speedster.. The tournament opener will commence from 7:30 pm (IST) and will happen at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai.
