Delhi Capitals posted a huge total of 207/3 on board with the help of terrific innings from David Warner and Rovman Powell. Initially, SRH's decision to bowl first looked like a very good move as Bhuvneshwar Kumar bowled a wicket maiden in 1st over of the innings but a 122-run partnership between David Warner and Rovman Powell totally pulled the game in favour of Delhi.

Sunrisers tried their level best in chasing this total (208) but they kept losing wickets at regular intervals and unfortunately, Nicholas Pooran's effort ended in vain as he got no support from other SRH batters. Khaleel Ahmed was the star performer with the ball (3/30) but Shardul Thakur ended up picking the two key wickets of Shashank Singh and Nicholas Pooran.
