Shane Warne was a legendary figure in international cricket. Apart from the fact that he completed 1000 international wickets, Warne was loved by the cricket fraternity for the passion that he possessed for the sport and how much he was keen on promoting the sport and helping youngsters taking their initial strides in the game.

The iconic Australian cricketer revolutionalised the art of leg-spin bowling and even led the Rajasthan Royals to victory in the first-ever IPL in what remains their only championship win to date. Understandably then that when RR took the field against SunRisers Hyderabad in a brand new season of the competition, some fans were missing Warne.

Notably, this is Rajasthan's first match of the season and their first fixture after Warne tragically passed away at 52 earlier this month.

A picture of a fan holding a poster reading "Miss you Warnie" at the MCA Stadium in Pune has surfaced on the internet.

Here is the viral image:

As far as the cricketing action is concerned, Rajasthan Royals got off to a bit of a shaky start and were lucky not to lease a wicket in the first over without a run on the board when Jos Buttler was caught off a no ball. However, RR ended their powerplay at 58 for no loss and are heading towards a solid first-innings total after being asked to bat first by SunRisers captain Kane Williamson.
