Gujarat Titans have won their 6th match of IPL 2022 season by defeating Kolkata Knight Riders on a margin of 8 runs. Gujarat managed to post a decent total of 156 on board with the help of skipper Hardik Pandya’s 67 but it was Andre Russell who stole the show in final over of the game as he picked 4 crucial wickets.
Kolkata openers had no answers for terrific spell from Mohammed Shami and lost their wickets cheaply and at one stage they were reeling at 34/4 but Rinku Singh’s decent contribution with the bat and Andre Russell’s firework in the end gave some hopes for Kolkata fans but unfortunately they couldn’t cross that winning line. Rashid Khan also was brilliant with the ball along with key pacer Shami.
