SRH vs KKR stats review

Sunrisers have won their 3rd consecutive match in IPL 2022 by defeating KKR convincingly by 7 wickets. Initially, SRH won the toss and invited KKR to bat first. While the Shreyas Iyer-led team looked in deep trouble after losing 4 quick wickets inside 10 overs but Nitish Rana's fifty and Andre Russell's stunning knock-in-death overs helped them post a total of 175/8 on board. Natarajan ended up picking 3 wickets but Umran Malik was pick of the bowlers for SRH as he stunned the whole KKR batting line up with his express pace and got the wicket of skipper Shreyas as well.

Sunrisers in the chase lost 2 early wickets inside powerplay itself but Rahul Tripathi's brutal attack on Kolkata bowlers totally changed the complexion of game and helped them to a commanding 7-wicket win. KKR's mystery spinner Varun Chakravarthy was totally looking out of sorts in this game as he ended up conceding 45 runs in his spell of 3 overs. Tripathi and Markram had a 94-run partnership for the 3rd wicket with Pat Cummins and Chakravarthy being the most expensive bowlers.
