Lucknow after two back-to-back wins against CSK and SRH will be facing Delhi Capitals in Mumbai. Delhi will be changing their overseas players combination as Nortje and Warner is expected to play in the XI since they would look to rejuvenate themselves after an unexpected loss against Gujarat Titans in their previous game. Interestingly both teams have had lost their only game to GT in IPL 2022 so far. Rishabh Pant vs KL Rahul battle as captain will be very exciting to see on the field as both of them are next in the race for India’s captaincy after Rohit Sharma.
Lucknow’s middle order batting with the likes of Ayush Badoni and Deepak Hooda has been biggest strength. Jason Holder’s addition has been another major positive for the KL Rahul’s side along with attacking bowling combo of Avesh Khan and Ravi Bishnoi. DC pace bowling department has been a bit of concern with Shardul Thakur going wicket-less so far, but however Kuldeep Yadav has been surprisingly in good form this season with the support of Axar Patel at the other end. DC have good depth in their batting order and that has helped them to win their 1st game against MI from an unbelievable situation.
