Trent Boult is there for RR while Ferguson is there in the GT. It is expected to be close battle.

The DY Patil Stadium pitch has remained on the high-scoring side. The average first innings total here so far is 165.7. Spinner have enjoyed a bit of upper hand over their pace counterparts. It is expected to remain the same way in Thursday's clash.

Team Analysis

Rajasthan Royals:

Rajasthan have looked like a formidable team so far in the tournament. Them occupying the top spot in the points table just validates this statement. They have the right balance with Jos Buttler, Shimron Hetmyer, Devdutt Padikkal doing the job with the bat while Trent Boult, Yuzvendra Chahal, and Prasidh Krishan are doing it with the ball. Sanju Samson has moved his players really well so far. The only concern for them right now is the form of two veterans Sanju Samson and R Ashwin. However, the management will hope for them to get their mojo back against Gujarat.

SportsTiger Playing XI of RR

Devdutt Padikkal, Jos Buttler, Sanju Samson (c & wk), Rassie van der Dussen, Shimron Hetmyer, Riyan Parag, Kuldeep Sen, R Ashwin, Trent Boult, Prasidh Krishna, Yuzvendra Chahal

Gujarat Titans:

Although this is their first season, Gujarat Titans have not looked like a newbie. Hardik Pandya has led the team exceptionally well so far. He lost his cool at moments in the team's game against Hyderabad, but he calmed himself down immediately after the game was over. Shubman Gill and Matthew Wade have done a decent job at the top. However, the team will expect a bit more from Wade. Hardik Pandya has contributed in both departments which has been one of the best things for GT. The bowling attack looks deadly with Ferguson, Shami, and Pandya as the pace battery. Rashid Khan has always been a luxury to have.

SportsTiger Playing XI of GT

Shubman Gill, Mattew Wade (wk), Sai Sudarshan, Hardik Pandya (c), David Miller, Rahul Tewatia, Abhinav Manohar, Rashid Khan, Lockie Ferguson, Mohammed Shami, Darshan Nalkande

Match Prediction

Conclusion

As both teams look equally strong, it is difficult to pick one as a winner. But still, Rajasthan can walk away with the game with a more experienced lineup.
