Lucknow Super Giants:
The new entrants have had a great start to the season already under KL Rahul who scored a sensational hundred in his last match. He is the second-highest run-getter of this season so far and has been in great form.
Other than Rahul, the likes of Quinton de Kock, young Ayush Badoni, Deepak Hooda and Krunal Pandya shoulder the responsibilities of the batting with Manish Pandey also scoring a useful 38 in the last game which could give him the necessary confidence moving forward.
Their bowling will be led by Avesh Khan and Ravi Bishnoi who are both outstanding talents, especially in this format of the game. The side gets its balance from their all-rounders in Jason Holder and Marcus Stoinis other than Pandya who isn't being looked at as a four-over bank either.
Royal Challengers Bangalore:
The Royal Challengers Bangalore would look to address their top-order concerns. Skipper Faf du Plessis barring the first match of the season hasn't scored runs while his partner Anuj Rawat hasn't looked assured either. Virat Kohli hasn't looked out of touch but has found a way to get out.
It is Bangalore's middle order which has been their strength so far with Glenn Maxwell having had a good innings under his belt and Dinesh Karthik having a dream season as a finisher. Shahbaz Ahmed has also played his part well.
On the bowling front, Wanindu Hasaranga has been their wrecker in chief who has been getting good support from Josh Hazlewood and Harshal Patel. Mohammed Siraj proved to be expensive in the initial few games but seems to be getting back on the radar.

While there is very little to choose between both the teams in the IPL season as of now, given the kind of win Bangalore had over Delhi Capitals where they were in a spot of bother but went on to clinch two points, would give them confidence to taste victory from any situation.
