The Sunrisers Hyderabad have turned into one of the most dominant teams in the IPL as they ran through the Royal Challengers Bangalore, registering a nine-wicket victory on Saturday. In the first innings, SRH decimated the Bangalore top order as they took four wickets in the first four overs. This towering performance continued as RCB batting just couldn’t stand its ground against SRH.

Marco Jansen and T Natarajan combined to pick six wickets while Jagadeesha Suchith also bagged two wickets as RCB was all out for 68. No Bangalore batter scored over 15 runs while they had three batters getting out on zero. In the second innings, SRH batters breezed through their chase as Abhishek Sharma smashed 47 runs in 25 balls sealing the victory in nine overs.

Here are some highlights from the game:

1. T Natarajan’s fiery three-wicket spell

Sunrisers Hyderabad’s T Natarajan bowled an incredible spell where he took three wickets while giving away just 10 runs in his three wickets. He dismissed a dangerous-looking Glenn Maxwell for 12. He then dismissed Harshal Patel for four and Wanindu Hasaranga for just eight.

2. Marco Jansen cleans up Virat Kohli for a golden duck

The young South African fast bowler, Marco Jansen started the landslide that took out the RCB top order as he dismissed Faf du Plessis for five. Then Jansen managed the unthinkable as he sent back former India and RCB captain Virat Kohli on a golden duck. The Protean bowled an away swinging ball which caught Kohli fishing outside the off-stump and darted straight into Aiden Markram’s hand. He also dismissed Anuj Rawat (0) and won the Player of the Match award.

3. Nicolas Pooran’s incredible catch for dismissing Dinesh Karthik

Nicolas Pooran had a field day as the SRH keeper as he was involved in three dismissals. The West Indian stumped out Suyash Prabhudessai for 15. Then he also caught Shahbaz Ahmed on seven off Umran Malik’s bowling. But his best dismissal was the catch he took to dismiss the in-form Dinesh Karthik on zero. Pooran almost dropped the catch but managed to hold on to it with his body.

4. Abhishek Sharma’s scintillating 47

After a dominant first inning, Abhishek Sharma built on SRH’s momentum as he smashed 47 runs in 28 balls. Sharma hit eight boundaries and one staggering six in his knock while batting on a strike rate of 167.86. From the opening ball, the young Delhi batter looked in great rhythm as he didn’t give RCB any chance.
