Preview

Sunrisers Hyderabad's winning streak that started against CSK was finally brought to an end by Gujarat Titans. Now, they will once again face CSK with the hope to regain their momentum. Meanwhile, Chennai Super Kings will look to save themselves from another defeat. The Ravindra Jadeja-led side has won two out of eight games played, while Hyderabad have won five out of eight.

Pitch Report

The MCA pitch is generally fast-paced and the batters enjoy their time in the middle. For bowlers, there is not much to capitalize on. However, the pacers have better numbers as compared to spinners at the venue.

Team Analysis

Sunrisers Hyderabad

A team that was looking short of match-winners suddenly have plenty of them. SRH's bowling attack is the most diverse one with every bowler offering a unique skill. Umran Malik's rise has been the talking point and the young pacer showed why against Gujarat. He took a fifer when other bowlers were struggling. In the batting department, Abhishek Sharma and Aiden Markram have been the bright lights with consistent performances. The return of Washington Sundar has further strengthened the SRH lineup.

Probable Playing XI

Abhishek Sharma, Kane Williamson (c), Rahul Tripathi, Aiden Markram, Nicholas Pooran, Shashank Singh, Washington Sundar, Marco Jansen, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Umran Malik, T Natarajan

Chennai Super Kings

The defending champions have just not been able to produce winning performances. In their last game against Punjab, CSK almost chased it down. Ambati Rayudu turned CSK's fortune around with his exceptional hitting. However, there are still bigger concerns for the Men in Yellow. Ravindra Jadeja's form is the biggest of them. The bowlers have started getting it together but they have not got enough backing. The Santner gamble has also not worked well. Thus, CSK management may be tempted to bring in Moeen Ali.

Probable XI

Ruturaj Gaikwad, Robin Uthappa, Moeen Ali, Ambati Rayudu, Shivam Dube, Ravindra Jadeja, MS Dhoni (c/wk), Dwayne Bravo, Dwaine Pretorious, Mukesh Choudhary, Maheesh Theekshana

Match Prediction
