Preview
Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will be under the pump after three consecutive losses when they meet Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in their 11th game this season. Meanwhile, Bangalore have got the rhythm back as they beat Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in their last game. But they will also have their previous meeting with Hyderabad playing on their mind where they were completely bulldozed by the SRH bowlers. Also, with the race to the playoffs getting intense, it will be interesting to see which team can keep themselves in the hunt.
Pitch Report
The Wankhede Stadium has produced some close encounters with the matches going down the wire. The pitches at this venue have been two-paced with bowlers, especially pacers getting some help. The same is expected in the game between SRH and RR.
Team Analysis
Sunrisers Hyderabad :
Hyderabad's strong point has been their bowling over the seasons. In IPL 2022 as well, they won games because of their bowlers. But suddenly it has become a worry for them with the opposition scoring over 200 runs three times this season. In the last two games, SRH have conceded 202 and 207 while bowling first and then have failed to chase. Umran Malik has conceded 100 runs in his last eight overs. T Natarajan has also leaked runs. However, the Kane Williamson-led side has shown some promise with the bat. Nicholas Pooran has proved his worth by playing almost match-winning knocks. Aiden Markram too has impressed. But the skipper's form is a sign of worry for SRH with Williamson failing to get going.

Royal Challengers Bangalore:
The Faf du Plessis-led side got back to winning ways after three consecutive losses and that too was against a team that has troubled no matter what (CSK). That win might have boosted the morale of RCB players. There were quite a few positives with Mahipal Lomror and Rajat Patidar stitching a beautiful partnership. Dinesh Karthik also took his finisher's role back. In bowling, Josh Hazlewood, Harshal Patel, and Glenn Maxwell impressed the most. However, there is still a biggest threat for RCB. Virat Kohli may have got back among the runs but they are not coming as freely as his team needs to come. Against CSK, Kohli played with a strike rate below 100. So, it will be interesting to see if the ex-captain is able to break the shackles or not.

Match Prediction
Conclusion
Considering the head-to-head records and what happened in the reverse fixture (when SRH and RCB last met), SRH will be the favorite to win the game.
