But the biggest positive for RCB was Virat Kohli’s return to form as he scored a smooth 29-ball 41 with one four and two sixes.

KKR started potently with the ball as Umesh Yadav ran through the Chennai top order. Then Sunil Narine and Varun Chakaravarthy put on the screws as they allowed only 38 runs in their eight overs. In the second innings, batters carried on the momentum and chased the target comfortably with six wickets in hand and nine balls to spare.
