Delhi Capitals will be facing the bottom placed team Mumbai Indians in a must win situation to enter IPL 2022 Playoffs as 4th team. MI despite totally being out of contention in this IPL season will be playing for pride and they might be tempted to try few more new players from the squad. Mumbai must defeat DC by a margin of around 90+ runs (or) chase their target inside 9 overs to avoid last position in the points table.
With GT, RR & LSG already being qualified for IPL 2022 Playoffs, now only two more teams (DC and RCB) remain in contention to grab the 4th position in points table. Delhi will be looking to give their 100% on field to ensure they qualify into playoffs for 4th time in a row meanwhile a loss for them will help RCB to qualify for playoffs.
