Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) meet once again in IPL 2022 but this time in a knockout game. The two teams will lock horns in Qualifier 2 for the second seat in the final. While Rajasthan are coming on the back of a defeat in Qualifier 1, Bangalore eliminated Lucknow to progress to the next stage. It is expected to be a nail-biter with two Royal teams of IPL up against each other.
Pitch Report
It will be the first game on the fresh pitch of Narendra Modi Stadium. Usually, after revamping, the pitch has been tricky to bat on with uneven bounce and sluggishness. Also with longer boundaries, the bowlers are always in the equation. So, the Qualifier 2 between RR and RCB is expected to be a moderate-scoring game.
Team Analysis
Rajasthan Royals
The Sanju Samson-led team almost gave a top-class performance with the bat. Jos Buttler got back among runs, Sanju Samson also played a quickfire inning, and RR posted a healthy total. But their bowlers could not defend the total and RR lost eventually. However, there were no big mistakes to point out. But the lack of wickets in the middle overs is what cost RR the game. Nonetheless, they have two quality spinners in Ashwin and Chahal who know the art of redemption. RR are not expected to make any changes to the eleven.

Royal Challengers Bangalore
RCB rode on Rajat Patidar’s excellence with the bat and broke the Eliminator jinx. But the failure of the big three- du Plessis, Kohli, and Maxwell was not a good sign for them. While du Plessis and Maxwell fell cheaply, Kohli perished after getting a start. Now, with another must-win game on the cards, the message from the management to these three will be to play big innings. In bowling, Mohammed Siraj is back among wickets, which is a good sign. Josh Hazlewood and Harshal Patel were also exceptionally good. So, no changes to RCB XI either.

Match Prediction
Conclusion
Rajasthan lost in their last game against Gujarat while RCB are high on confidence after beating Lucknow. Also, RCB have a better head-to-head record against RR. Thus, they are the favourites to win Qualifier 2.
