Mumbai Indians have lost their 4th game on trot unfortunately in IPL 2022 to Royal Challengers Bangalore in Pune. Faf du Plessis winning the toss invited Mumbai to bat first and they started off pretty well with a 50-run opening partnership between Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan but however they totally collapsed from 50/0 to 62/5 in a period of just 4 overs.

Wanindu Hasaranga and Harshal Patel played a key role with the ball as they picked 2 wickets each and kept troubling the Mumbai batsman. At one stage MI were reeling at 79/6 but Suryakumar Yadav's sensational knock of unbeaten 68 runs from 37 balls helped them to post a respectable total of 151/6 on board.

RCB in the chase played much similar to how SRH played against CSK earlier in the day. Fantastic knock from Anuj Rawat and Virat Kohli helped RCB defeat MI by 7 wickets and get their 3rd win of the season in IPL 2022.

Initially, Faf du Plessis and Anuj Rawat had a 50-run partnership between them and at the end of 8 overs it was broken by Jaydev Unadkat, but however post the wicket of du Plessis Mumbai Indians struggled to get a wicket as both Kohli and Rawat were playing flawless cricket.

Virat Kohli played many eye catching strokes in that innings but he was dismissed in a very unfortunate manner to Dewald Brevis. In the end, Dinesh Karthik and Glenn Maxwell finished off the things in style very quickly without wasting much time.
