After losing their first game to RR by a big margin of 61 runs, SRH are currently standing at last position in the points table, while Lucknow claimed a stunning win against CSK in their last game. Sunrisers Hyderabad could be very low on confidence after being totally outplayed in their previous match against Rajasthan Royals but still they will be desperate to open the account in points tally against a newly formed franchise. Kane Williamson's form with the bat could be important for Hyderabad in today's match.

On the other hand, Lucknow Super Giants also started their campaign with a loss against Hardik Pandya's team Gujarat Titans but have bounced back well by chasing the 4th highest total (211) in IPL history against CSK. They would like to replicate this batting performance against SRH today as well. Caribbean all-rounder Jason Holder is also expected to join the XI and that will make Lucknow even more deadlier against SRH as they already have the likes of Quinton de Kock and Evin Lewis.
