Sunrisers Hyderabad will begin their IPL 2022 campaign by taking on Rajasthan at Pune Stadium tomorrow. Both SRH and RR had a disappointing campaign in IPL 2021 as they finished at 8th and 7th position respectively in points table. Thus, both teams will be looking to turn tables around this time in the upcoming IPL season. SRH, lead by Kane Williamson, will have a different side composition with players like Rahul Tripathi, Nicholas Pooran, Washington Sundar in their squad. They have retained some of their former players like Bhuvneshwar Kumar and T. Natarajan as well.
Rajasthan Royals look pretty strong with their top order batting line-up and their bowling attack looks also looks good with players like Trent Boult, Prasidh Krishna, Ravi Ashwin, Yuzvendra Chahal featuring in their squad. Sanju Samson as captain didn’t impress the cricket lovers in IPL 2021 and he is expected to change his strategy in IPL 2022 to help his side qualify for the playoffs for the first tme after 2018. It will also be interesting to see who will open the bating for Rajasthan as there are 4 options there for them currently with Jos Buttler, Devdutt Padikkal, Sanju Samson and Yashasvi Jaiswal being there in squad.
