Mumbai Indians are the most successful team in the history of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The Rohit Sharma-led team has won as many as five titles already in fourteen seasons and all of them have come from 2013, meaning they have been one of the most consistent teams in recent years.
However, this year the Blue and Gold Brigade have got off to a nightmarish start. They have already lost four out of four matches and haven’t yet found a settled combination, making a change to their XI even in their fifth match.
Social media is puzzled by MI’s decision to not give their 8.25 crore buy Tim David enough opportunities. Despite not getting wins under their belt, David has been rested after a couple of opportunities.

I don't understand the Mumbai Indians's strategy. They spent 8.5 crores on Tim David and benching him. They don't have batting after 6. he can give batting depth and also David, Brewis, Tilak and Pollard can manage the quota of the 5th bowler.

I don't get MI's strategy in this year's IPL. You play 3 OS and Tim David , Fabien are warming the bench. Expected better from a Champion side. Hope they win today. #MIvsPBKS
