The 15th edition of the Indian Premier League has headed towards its final stage, and teams are fighting hard against each other to make the cut to the next round. Match number 65 will bring out-of-contention Mumbai Indians up against struggling Sunrisers Hyderabad on May 17 at iconic the Wankhede Stadium. While Mumbai Indians became the first team to get eliminated from the league stage, Hyderabad is on the brink of some similar fortune due to five losses on the trot.

Due to the negative net run rate, Hyderabad needs to win both their remaining matches and still, the side will depend on the results of other teams to qualify for the playoffs. But a loss against Mumbai at the Wankhede stadium will surely eliminate them, as there are seven teams now with 12 or more points. Hyderabad will have high hopes from their skipper Kane Williamson who looked far from his abilities.

Having scored just 208 runs from 12 games at an average of 18.92, he needs to do something extraordinary to gain some respect. Another opener, Abhishek Sharma, chipped in with a 43 in the last game, but converting a good start into a big score has been a major concern for the side. Hyderabad has a power-packed middle-order with Rahul Tripathi, Aiden Markram and swashbuckling Nicholas Pooran, but none have remained consistent in the tournament.

Hyderabad has one of the fierce bowling attacks in the league with Umran Malik, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, T Natarajan, and Marco Janssen. MI will take confidence from their five-wicket win over Chennai Super Kings, whom they bundled out for 97 and probably look to dent SRH's chances. However, Rohit and Ishan Kishan need to buckle up and end the league on a high note by performing well in the remaining couple of matches. Let's take a look at when and where to watch the game.
