The 2022 Indian Premier League brings us two franchises that will go head to head on Monday at 7:30 PM at the Wankhede Stadium. These two teams are the Gujarat Titans and the Lucknow Super Giants. The two new franchise are led by all-rounder in Hardik Pandya (Gujarat Titans) and wicketkeeper-batter KL Rahul (Lucknow Super Giants). Both teams will have a lot to prove and set an early precedent for the rest of the tournament.

The Gujarat Titans can be considered as one of the most exciting teams in the tournament this year. They have an interesting bunch in the squad starting from their captain Hardik Pandya alongside leg spinner Rashid Khan, Shubman Gill, etc. with coach Ashish Nehra. Whereas the Lucknow Super Giants look like a solid team who could make a deep run in the playoffs. Their captain KL Rahul has been one of the best batters in recent IPL editions along with Quinton de Kock. They also have an incredibly experienced backroom staff with Gautum Gambhir, Andy Flower and Vijay Dahiya.
