After suffering a heavy defeat at the hands of Pakistan in first match of ongoing T20 World Cup, all eyes were on Team India on Sunday as they were up against the Kiwis post a one week break. The fans had been waiting eagerly for the big game, what was being termed as a possible do-or-die contest for both sides. Virat Kohli and Co. were expected to produce a competitive performance in Dubai but much to everyone's shock, India had another horror outing.

It all started on a bad note for the side as Indian captain lost the crucial toss once again and were put to bat. However, there was simply no justification to how the star-studded batting line-up performed against the Kiwi bowlers. While the new opening duo of Ishan Kishan and KL misfired, the senior pair of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma also looked completely out of sorts.

As a result, India could only put up a below-par total of 110/7 in 20 overs, which was easily chased down by New Zealand in only 14.3 overs. The manner of loss was something that left the whole cricket fraternity absolutely baffled, as Twitter got flooded with posts around India's defeat in no time.

Fans were undoubtedly angry as they did not miss the opportunity to criticize the Men in Blue on social media. While one user mocked the side for avoiding a 10-wicket defeat (like Pakistan clash), another fan stated 'Mauka Mauka continues' reflecting on India's losing streak against the Kiwis in ICC events which has been going on since 2003.

The netizens also did not shy away from bringing the topic of Indian Premier League, as one of the user stated 'IPL ke sher, World Cup mein dher'. While most of the people had angry and sarcastic comments, there were few who were just left heartbroken with India's performance.
