Over the years, Stephen Curry has established himself as the face of the Golden State Warriors. Not only did he become their leading scorer, but has also managed to proclaim himself as the ‘3-Point King’. This led to Stephen Curry becoming the offensive backbone of the Warriors in the modern era.

Having seen the support of Klay Thompson on the offensive end and Draymond Green in the backcourt, Curry was able to lead the Warriors to several NBA Championships. He did so by becoming the NBA MVP as well. But in the 2020-21 season, Curry was without his splash brother, which led to Warriors struggling and often depending upon the shoulders of their marquee scorer to pull them out of the clutch situation.

Should Stephen Curry leave Golden State Warriors?

In the 2020-21 NBA Play-in tournament, Curry bowed out to LeBron James’ heroics and this led to the Warriors facing Memphis Grizzlies. The Grizzlies were certain upon their strategy to guard Stephen Curry to stop the flurry of points and were often seen double marking him. In the initial stage, the Warriors were able to score. Yet, as the game went deeper, the pressure increased upon Stephen Curry. As a result, it was JA Morant, whose 35 points led Grizzlies past Warriors into the playoffs.

This made fans speculate whether Curry’s time with the Golden State Warriors has come to an end? In the early stages of the 2020-21 NBA season, there were reports of LeBron James badly wanting to play alongside Stephen Curry. With both players shaving a significant amount of respect for one another, the duo can prove to become the best in the world.

Not only that, there are other teams in the modern-day NBA, who have acquired a start-studded starting 5, with a plethora of offensive players. However, it remains to be seen whether Curry would want to part ways with his truly loved Golden State Warriors for the next season.
