The All-India Senior Selection Committee has added Ishan Kishan and Shahrukh Khan to India’s squad for the first ODI against the West Indies to be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Sunday. Notably, Rohit Sharma confirmed during the press conference that Ishan Kishan will open the inning with him in the first ODI.
Earlier, Team India received a big blow as Shikhar Dhawan, Shreyas Iyer, Ruturaj Gaikwad tested positive for COVID-19 upon arriving in Ahmedabad. The selection committee included Mayank Agarwal in the squad as a backup opener.
