The shooting trio of Arjun Babuta, Tushar Mane and Prakhar Makhija has helped team India to win another gold medal at the ongoing International Shooting Sport Federation world cup in Changwon on Thursday. Indian men defeated Korea 17-15 to clinch the 10-metre air rifle team event title.

The Korean team comprising of Seungho Bang, Sangdo Kim and Hajun Park took the lead in the mid-game but the Indian team held their nerves to complete a formidable comeback to claim the gold medal.

Indian women shooters Elavenil Valarivan, Mehuli Ghosh, and Ramita lost in the women's air rifle team event final by 10-16 against the home team of Jihyeon Keum, Eunseo Lee, and Dayeong Gwon. Indian women's team won the fourth silver medal for the country.

Indian pistol shooters Shiva Narwal, Naveen and Sagar Dangi bagged the silver medal after losing to the Italian side of Paolo Monna, Alessio Torracchi and Luca Tesconi by 17-15. India won their third silver medal of the day as the 10m Air Pistol Women team of Rhythm Sangwan, Yuvika Tomar and Palak claimed the second position in the event.

Team India are currently sitting at the top in the shooting world cup rankings after winning three gold, four silver and a bronze medal. With six days remaining in the shooting world cup, 15 more gold medals are on offer. The home team Korea is just behind India with three gold and silver medals each.
