The highly anticipated Italian Open tournament is an annual tennis tournament in Rome, Italy. The ATP & WTA 1000 tournament has a massive significance in the run-up to the French Open. The contest is played on clay courts and is thus referred to as Rome Masters. Italian Open 2022 is set to kick start on May 2, and the finals will be played on May 15. The tournament is sponsored by the Banca Nazionale del Lavoro (BNL), a prominent Italian bank in Rome.
