The 15th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is all set to kick off on March 26. Defending champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will start their campaign against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on the same day. MS Dhoni will be back once again leading the franchise. After a forgettable season in 2020, Dhoni's men turned it around in 2021 and lifted their fourth title.

It has been a norm after MS Dhoni's international retirement that a question on his last IPL stint is raised. Dhoni also has answered the question with grace. While he said "definitely not" in 2020, he said "I still haven't left behind" with a cheeky smile at IPL 2021 final. But carrying on the norm, the same question has been brought up once again and the answer will be awaited from the man himself.

Saba Karim also does not want to answer this query as he refused to predict Dhoni's future in the Indian Premier League. While answering a question on India News, Karim said, "It is better not to say anything about MS Dhoni. When he will play, how many matches he will play, how many more years he will play, it is very difficult to say that because he is a player who is a one-man army."

However, he pointed out the importance Dhoni has for CSK. "CSK has full faith that Dhoni will not only captain well, but his contribution is of a different type, he has the ability to unearth young players and give them opportunities. That is why I feel, we will have to wait this season at least. It will depend on how CSK performs and Dhoni's fitness level and performance," added Saba.

Notably, Dhoni has prioritized the captaincy role over batting. He has tried to promote other batters ahead of himself in the past two years. This has also attracted some criticism but in the end, it has worked well for his team.
