To celebrate the 20th anniversary of John Cena's debut, WWE announced his comeback on June 27. WWE displayed a special playback that saw young Cena upsetting the legendary Kurt Angle in his debut on June 27, 2002.

Watching WWE playback, John Cena remembered the segment that almost got him fired from the company. One of the most celebrated WWE stars, Cena faced Kurt Angle in his debut match on Smackdown. After watching the playback, the wrestler talked about a backstage segment where he disrespected the Undertaker.

The incident resulted in the neglect by the audience, which taught the actor-turned-wrestler a lesson for life. John Cena said, "I was told in performances like that almost got me fired. I could see why ’cause you look at the audience, nobody cares."

'You can't see me' wrestler has dominated WWE throughout his professional career. For instance, he is a 16-time WWE world champion, 5-time WWE United States champion, 2008 and 2013 Royal Rumble winner, and 2012 Money in the Bank winner.
