Rajasthan Royals have made it to the finals of the 15th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The Rajasthan-based franchise has walked into an IPL final after 14 long years. The last time RR played a final was way back in the inaugural edition of the tournament and it happened under the Aussie great Shane Warne.

And it seems Rajasthan are all set to give a tribute to their first and only captain to win an IPL title so far when they meet Gujarat on the D-day. This whole season has been a tribute to Warne from Rajasthan Royals as they have virtually kept him in all the matches. Also, whenever there has been a talk about the former Royal, the RR players have spoken emotionally.

Jos Buttler also got really emotional when he was remembering the legendary Shane Warne ahead of the summit clash. Buttler broke into tears while talking about RR’s ex-captain. The pictures of Jos Buttler breaking down have gone viral on the internet.

Buttler looking to finish IPL 2022 on high

Although Buttler got really emotional, he would be feeling the butterflies in his stomach ahead of the big clash against Gujarat Titans and he will be hoping to finish IPL 2022 on a high as he started the season. Buttler has been in the form of his life as he has already accumulated 824 runs this season. He also equalled Virat Kohli’s record of four centuries in a season.

Now, he will have the chance to go past David Warner in terms of the most number of runs in a single season. The RR opener needs only 25 runs to pip Warner. But apart from that record, Buttler will eye that elusive title that has been waiting to be lifted by the best team of this season.
