The former England cricketer Kevin Pietersen has been quite active on Twitter regarding his thoughts on the matter of current affairs and sports like cricket, football, and golf. His fans and the general public often take a fine interest to reply to his tweets in a consistent manner.
In a recent tweet, KP posted a picture along with the Hollywood actor Will Smith, who has been in news regarding his slap gate incident at the Oscar Academy Awards 2022.
Kevin posted a photo tweet with the caption, “Just make the dude laugh and all will be ok!”
The photo goes back to BBL 2018 when Kevin Pietersen featured as a player for Melbourne Stars, and Will Smith made a surprise presence in one of the fixtures at Melbourne Cricket Ground. The caption was ironic due to the recent incident of Will Smith and people came in numbers to react to the tweet.

The slap incident at the Oscars happened when one of the co-hosts of the Academy Awards, comedian Chris Rock made a joke about Smith’s wife Jada Pinkett Smith.
Although Smith laughed at the joke initially, the reaction of his wife started the story of the renowned actor getting miffed and coming onto the stage and slapping the comedian Rock. After coming back to his seat, he told the comedian, “Keep my wife’s name out of your f****** mouth.“
On April 2, Smith resigned from the Films Academy and said, “I betrayed the trust of the Academy. I deprived other nominees and winners of their opportunity to celebrate and be celebrated for their extraordinary work. I am heartbroken.”
“So, I am resigning from membership in the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, and will accept any further consequences the Board deems appropriate,” he added.
