The day six of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) 2025 saw a humdinger of a contest as Haryana Steelers defeated U Mumba by 7-6 in the tie-breaker after the full-time scorecard read 36-36 at the Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium in Visakhapatnam on Wednesday, September 6. Naveen Kumar, the star player of Haryana Steelers, who was managing a minor niggle suffered during the match 12 of the tournament, got a bonus point on the final raid, to help his team win by a solitary point despite getting tackled by the U Mumba defenders.
In the match 11 earlier in the evening, Puneri Paltan registered a comfortable 45-36 win over Bengal Warriorz despite the raider Devank’s massive haul of 17 points for the latter. For Puneri Paltan, all-rounder Aslam Inamdar and raider Aditya Shinde’s 11 points each were the catalyst for huge haul of points in the PKL 2025 clash against Bengal Warriorz, with the likes of Pankaj Mohite, Vishal Bharadwaj, and Gurdeep scoring five points each in the support cast.
Puneri Paltan are in first place in the league standings with three wins on the spin, to go stay ahead of UP Yoddhas and U Mumba, who lost their match in the tie-breaker to Haryana Steelers
