SRH got their 3rd win IPL 2021 by defeating RCB by a margin of 4 runs. Initially, SRH managed to post a total of 141/7 with the help of Jason Roy and Kane Williamson's crucial 70 run partnership. Dan Christian ended up picking 2 crucial wickets of Priyam Garg and Jason Roy in the same over while purple cap holder Harshal Patel ended up picking 3 wickets in that game which shifted momentum towards RCB in the end.
SRH's 4 fast bowlers ensured RCB batsmen didn't get any easy runs with their tight bowling attack and only Maxwell batted fluently. Bhuvneshwar Kumar took the wicket of Bangalore skipper Kohli in the 1st over itself while Dan Christian was once again dismissed for a low score of 1. Padikkal was struggling with the bat and ended up scoring 41 runs off 52 balls, while AB de Villiers was sent lower down the order which meant he didn't have too many balls to play in the end.
