Kevin Pietersen was undoubtedly one of the most entertaining players on the field during his cricket days. However, he has continued to spread some laughter post his playing days as well, either through his on-air comments or social media engagement. Something very similar was on display when Pietersen completely outfoxed Rashid with a googly.

Rashid Khan hits helicopter shot

The helicopter shot is one of the most famous shots in cricket, popularized by former Indian captain MS Dhoni. Since his retirement, there are few players who have tried it and Afghanistan cricketer Rashid Khan is one of those who has successfully managed to execute the shot. However, the recently-appointed T20 skipper of his national side did something which left all the fans quite amazed. Rashid hit a helicopter shot with a golf stick and nailed the technique to perfection.

Pietersen challenges Rashid

While the fans were full of praise for Rashid's brilliant hit, former Aussie cricketer Michael Bevan was also quite impressed as he commented, "Nice🔥". However, Kevin Pietersen (who himself is a big golf lover) was not too amazed as he asked Rashid to try 'switch hit' instead.

Notably, switch hit was Pietersen's trademark shot in cricket which very few players have been able to play. It will be very interesting to see if Rashid accepts the challenge given to him by former England captain and tries a switch hit with golf club.
