Kevin Pietersen-led England Legends upstaged India Legends in a nail-biting encounter on Tuesday. Batting first, England posted a mammoth total of 188 runs, courtesy captain Pietersen who smashed 75 off just 37 deliveries. His performance, coupled with Monty Panesar's 3 for 15 runs became the difference in the game. After the emphatic win, England skipper was quick to take the news to social media to share his emotions. Posting a picture with his teammates, Kevin Pietersen wrote, "So England CAN beat India in India." He further wrote, "England selectors - We are all available."

The two sentences by the southpaw grabbed the headlines. Even when the 40-year old Pietersen wrote it on the lighter note, fans around the globe became excited for his International comeback. Kevin Pietersen went all guns against almost every Indian bowler, and deposited white cherry into the stands on as many as 5 occasions. Interestingly, after playing at a strike-rate of over 200, pragmatically, it wouldn't be a wrong choice for the veteran to actually take the field again, if at all required by the England Cricket team in months to come.
