Australian speedster Pat Cummins, who plays for the Kolkata Knight Riders, in the Indian Premier League, has bought a luxury bungalow in Sydney at an estimated cost of close to INR 54 crores. Notably, Cummins spent that amount along with his interior designer fiancée Becky Boston and could manage the whopping sum, thanks to his lucrative annual IPL contract of INR 15.5 crores.

Features of the property

Reports emerging from Australia suggest that the splendid house features as many as five bedrooms, a large backyard as well as a swimming pool. The villa is said to be situated on a 670 sqm block and is extremely spacious for the couple even when they decide to have a family later down the years. Apart from the five bedrooms, the house also boasts of having a top floor retreat and a two-bedroom children's wing that has an amazing view of the pacific ocean. The new Cummins house even has rooms dedicated for entertainment purposed along with a spectacular kitchen.

Cummins' performance in IPL 2020

Although Cummins did not look in the best of form in his initial matches in IPL 2020, the KKR star did manage to make his presence felt as the tournament progressed. He not only ended the season with 12 wickets but also scored some invaluable runs lower down the order. Ahead of IPL 2021, the team would hope that Cummins can hit produce his best in the tournament and help the franchise win their third title.
