The ongoing 19th match in the Indian Premier League has brought Delhi Capitals up against Kolkata Knight Riders at Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai. Capitals posted 215 in 20 overs in the first innings of the game due to blistering knocks from Axar Patel and Shardul Thakur at the end. In response, Ajinkya Rahane and Venkatesh Iyer opened the innings for KKR, hoping to provide a solid start to their side.

Much to everyone's surprise, Rahane was adjudged LBW in the very first delivery of the 2nd innings. However, the decision was overturned as the impact was outside and the ball was missing the stumps. But, the next ball saw some more drama as the onfield umpire, Madangopal, once again gave the KKR batter LBW. However, the KKR opener again survived through DRS as it revealed that the ball had taken the edge.

The third ball of the over was side outside off and Rahane tried to drive but it went past him. However, the replay showed that there was an edge when the ball passed the bat, giving Rahane another reprieve.
