In a significant development, KL Rahul is set to take wedding vows with his long-time girlfriend and Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty in the next three months. Notably, the duo have been dating each other for quite some time now and the wedding rumors have been going around for a while.
According to latest report, KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty are set to marry in next three months and preparation for the same is in full swings. Reportedly, the two families recently met each other and visited the house where the pair will be moving in.
"Rahul's parents were recently in Mumbai to meet Athiya's family. The couple, along with their families visited the newly built house where they will be moving in soon, to see the progress work," informed a source close to the development. Report published in India Today further stated that the wedding is set to take place in Mumbai.
Source further claimed that Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty is personally taking care of every detail related to the wedding preparations.
"It will be a grand celebration for both the families and every detail of the wedding is been overseen by the bride herself," a source claimed.
Dating rumors were confirmed last year when KL Rahul accompanied Shetty family to the screening of Ahan Shetty's debut movie Tadap. The appearance marked the confirmation of the relationship, and ever since, the pair frequently gets clicked together. Even during recently concluded Indian Premier League, Athiya Shetty was seen cheering for her boyfriend and skipper of Lucknow Super Giants.
Earlier, Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty hailed the Indian cricketer by saying that he completely 'loves the boy.' "As far as KL Rahul is concerned, I love the boy. It is for them to decided what they want to do, because times have changed. My daughter and son are both responsible people, I would like them to take the decision. My blessing are always there for them," he said.
