As per reports, Indian wicketkeeper-batter KL Rahul will not be part of the travelling party of Indian players who are included in the T20I squad. These players will leave India from Mumbai, Bangalore and Chennai to reach Dubai where all players in the T20I squad will fly out to the Caribbean.

KL Rahul tested positive for Covid-19 a few days back and hasn’t yet fully recovered. He will not be travelling to West Indies with the rest of the players. The other players who will be leaving for the Caribbean are Dinesh Karthik, R Ashwin, Ravi Bishnoi, Kuldeep Yadav and Bhuvaneshwar Kumar.

Reports further add that Indian pacer Harshal Patel will join the team directly from the USA as he is staying there. Like Patel, Hardik Pandya and the captain of the team Rohit Sharma both are on vacation in Greece and Paris respectively and hence information about their departure is unknown.
