Indian all-rounder Krunal Pandya welcomed baby boy with wife Pankhuri Sharma. The couple posted the picture of their son and also revealed his name, calling him Kavir Krunal Pandya. Both Krunal and Pankhuri got married on December 27, 2017.  The couple also got a lot of blessings and heartwarming messages on becoming parents.

Wife of former India and Mumbai Indians player Zaheer Khan, Sagarika Ghatge wrote, “Congratulations guys @pankhuriisharma @krunalpandya_official – lots and lots of love to the little one.” Krunal’s teammate Mohsin Khan also commented, “Congratulations bhaiya.” Media personality and host of Breakfast with Champions, Gaurav Kapur commented, “Big love to the 3 of you.”

Like this news, Krunal Pandya will also be starting a new chapter in his cricketing career as he will be playing for Warwickshire in the Royal London Cup One Day championship from 2-23 August. The Warwickshire Director of Cricket, Paul Farbrace expressed excitement about bringing in Pandya for the tournament.

He said, “Krunal is an incredible signing for the club, and I’m delighted to welcome him to Edgbaston. Krunal Pandya will bring a wealth of international experience to a team that will be desperate to do well.”

“Due to our impressive T20 performances, we will lose players to The Hundred, but that’s always going to happen to successful teams. The opportunity to add a world-renowned all-rounder to an exciting group is fantastic,” added Farbrace.

Addressing this news, Krunal Pandya said, “I’m extremely excited to get the opportunity to play county cricket and to join such a history Club as Warwickshire. Edgbaston is a special place to play cricket and I can’t wait to call it my home.”

“I hope I can play my part in a successful 50-over campaign with the Club and I am looking forward to meeting my teammates. I would like to extend my gratitude to both Warwickshire County cricket club and the BCCI for this opportunity,” added Krunal Pandya.

Warwickshire is set to play eight group-stages matches, with four at home in Edgbaston, in this summer’s Royal London Cup. The top three counties at the end of the group stage will enter the knockout stages.
