134:Kanpur administration orders probe as cricketer Kuldeep Yadav takes COVID vaccine shot at 'guest house' instead of hospital

Left-arm chinaman Kuldeep Yadav, who is definitely not in the best of his form, has landed into a controversy. It all started when Yadav booked a slot for the first dose of COVID vaccine at Jageshwar Hospital in Govind Nagar but was reportedly given the jab in the lawn of the Kanpur Nagar Nigam guest house.

The matter would have vanished, had Kuldeep not shared his picture from there on social media, in order to make an appeal to the masses to get vaccinated when possible. However, as fate would have it, unaware of the consequences, the spinner posted the picture and as it turns out, the Kanpur district administration has directed an investigation into allegations that cricketer Kuldeep was given coronavirus vaccine anywhere other than the hospital where he had scheduled an appointment.

With the episode coming into light, ADM Atul Kumar has been ordered to thoroughly investigate the matter and send a report as soon as possible, as per Kanpur District Magistrate Alok Tiwari. The DM further assured that no one has been provided VIP treatment with regard to COVID vaccination in the district.

Kuldeep's dipping form

Over the last 2 years, Kuldeep is struggling with his form, and due to this, he has been left out of the England tour as well. Kuldeep was also overlooked by his KKR team management this season as he didn't get a single game. However, the team struggled for performances and won only 2 out of 7 matches. Still, Yadav could not find a place in the group. This all has put some serious questions on the future of his cricket career.
