Reports say that Paris Saint Germain stars Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe are in conflict on the future of Neymar Jr. at the club. As per Spanish media outlets, Messi wants his friend Neymar to stay at the club, while Mbappe wants the former Barcelona man out of Paris. The reports further add that the Frenchman preferred Neymar out of the squad due to some indiscipline issues.

Similarly, these rumours about Neymar caught more fire as reports addressed that Mbappe has a huge influence on the club’s transfer policy because of his new deal with PSG after rejecting Real Madrid.

But the President of Paris Saint Germain Nasser Al-Khelaifi clarified a few weeks ago that the 2018 World Cup doesn’t have the final say on who stays and who goes, but his opinion is important and valued. “Those who don’t fit into the project will have to leave. Some have taken advantage of the situation.”

“Now that’s over. The goal for the next few years is to have only Parisian players in our team. There are so many talents in our region. The best players in our region deserve to play for PSG. That will take time, but it is a goal”, Nasser Al-Khelaifi added.

The reports about Neymar’s transfer have made the news consistently from the start of the transfer window because of the Brazilian’s negative reaction to the comments made by the PSG president. The Qatari Businessman talked about how the club demands its players to improve after every season while giving 100% effort.

Al-Khelaifi said, “A possible departure of Neymar this summer? What I can tell you is that we expect all players to do a lot more than last season, said the president of PSG. A lot more! They must all to be 100%. Obviously, we weren’t good enough to go far.”

“For next season, the objective is clear: to work every day at 200%. To give everything we have for this shirt, give the maximum and we will see the result. We have to become humble again. We have to change to avoid injuries, suspensions and fouls that change a game.”
